AcompanIA
Student Wellbeing & Support AI
AI for Student Wellbeing.
An intelligent solution designed to support students through academic stress and the challenges of university life.
Live and publicly accessible. It adapts to each institution's language, resources and processes.
Support exists, but it cannot reach everyone.
What follows describes situations we observe when working with educational institutions. These are not statistics; they are the context in which AcompanIA makes sense.
Demand outgrows the team
Wellbeing and guidance services reach a fraction of the students who could need support.
Distress does not keep office hours
Exam anxiety and the feeling of being overwhelmed appear at night, at weekends and during assessment periods.
Asking for help is hard
Many students never take the first step towards a formal service, especially when it means exposing themselves.
No view of the bigger picture
Institutions rarely have an aggregated reading of what concerns their students, or when in the year it happens.
Support that is always available, alongside the human team.
AcompanIA is a mobile-first application designed for a student's daily life, not for a one-off appointment.
It combines AI conversation, guided journaling, gamification and educational wellbeing content.
It does not replace psychologists, tutors or institutional services: it is the first door, and the everyday support between one appointment and the next.
It is personalised with each university's resources, tone of voice and referral channels.
What AcompanIA already does today.
Everything listed here is implemented and running in the product.
AI conversation
A conversational space available at any hour, with a careful tone, to help a student make sense of what they are feeling.
Guided journaling
Personal entries with prompts that help students put their mood into words and follow how it evolves.
Habits and gamification
Routines, achievements and tracking that sustain use over time, which is where support actually works.
Educational content
Short material on stress, organisation, rest and university life, adaptable to the institution's own resources.
Referral to the institution
Where appropriate, the application points the student towards their university's real services.
Mobile-first experience
Designed for the phone, in Spanish and English, with no complex installation on the institution's side.
What it brings to the university.
- It extends the reach of student support without extending the team.
- It offers a low-threshold entry point for students who would not otherwise ask.
- It brings the institution's wellbeing resources together in one place.
- It provides an aggregated, anonymous reading of the most frequent concerns.
- It is presented with the university's own identity and language.
- It is the first module of an ecosystem that can grow with the institution.
What AcompanIA does not do.
It does not diagnose
It issues no diagnoses and prescribes no treatment. It supports, organises and signposts.
It does not replace professionals
It is designed to work alongside the institution's wellbeing, tutoring and health teams.
It does not leave a serious situation unattended
When it detects signs of risk, it directs the student to the help channels agreed with the university.
It does not expose the student
What the institution sees are aggregated trends, never the personal content of a conversation.
Your students' data belongs to your institution.
- We agree with the institution which data is collected and what is reported.
- Institutional reporting is aggregated and anonymous by design.
- Hosting and retention are agreed according to the applicable regulations, including the GDPR in Europe.
- The institution keeps control and can request deletion of the data.
Three steps, with no promised timescales.
Every institution has its own pace and its own departments involved. We set the timetable together, not before we know it.
Discover
We understand how student support works today, who is involved and which resources exist.
Pilot
We adapt AcompanIA to the institution and put it in the hands of a defined group of students.
Scale
We extend usage and, where it makes sense, add further modules of the ecosystem.
Very little, and everything it already has.
- A named person or department to lead the project.
- Its current wellbeing resources and referral channels.
- Its tone of voice, language and institutional identity.
- A group of students for the pilot.
What institutions usually ask us.
- Does AcompanIA replace the counselling service?
- No. It is everyday support that sits alongside the service and signposts students to it when appropriate.
- Is it available today?
- Yes. The product is live and publicly accessible, and we adapt it to each institution.
- Which languages does it work in?
- In Spanish and English, and we can assess further languages depending on the project.
- What does the university see?
- Aggregated, anonymous trends agreed in advance. Never the personal content of a conversation.
- Does it integrate with the institution's systems?
- We assess that during discovery. AcompanIA can run on its own or connect with existing systems.
- How much does it cost?
- It depends on the scope and the size of the institution. We define it after the demo, with no commitment.
AcompanIA is the first module.
The rest of the university AI ecosystem is in development and is defined with each institution.
